What is Microneedling?

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a cosmetic skin needling procedure to promote and accelerate natural skin regeneration and rejuvenation. The cosmetic procedure is done by piercing small fine, sterile needles repeatedly into the epidermis (top) layer of the skin. It is mostly done on the face and neck. A numbing cream is used to temporarily numb the skin whilst treatment is performed.

Microneedling promotes the production of Collagen (which drastically slows down at age 27) and skin cell division (creating new skin cells). Skin needling not only promotes a firmer, more toned skin but also treats dark spots, pigmentation, large pores, stretch marks, acne and surgical scarring.
